If you are invited to attend an interview we will contact you by email confirming the arrangements.
About the interview process
Where possible, we will advertise the interview date to ensure that you have sufficient notice to make arrangements to attend an interview, should your application be shortlisted.
All interviews are conducted by a panel, with at least one member who has received the University’s recruitment and selection training.
Many of the posts will involve a test, presentation or assessment day as part of the interview process. This could be in the form of a clerical or IT test, or a requirement to deliver a short presentation. Full details will be confirmed to you by email.
After the interview you will be contacted as soon as possible, by either phone or email, to inform you whether or not you have been successful.
If you have questions or concerns about the interview please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate Resourcing Adviser.
Feedback can be provided upon request following an interview.
Redeployment may arise due to redundancies, organisational change and the non-renewal of fixed term contracts, as well as individual circumstances.
