Development Opportunities

The T&OD team is committed to offering a wide variety of learning opportunities to all staff.

We offer a range of development opportunities for staff at all levels, using a blended approach to learning. We offer opportunities for Leadership and Management training, Job Skills and Personal Effectiveness. 

We provide guidance for staff on undertaking an apprenticeship, and supporting your staff through an apprenticeship standard. 

Which training to choose?

You are encouraged to take up training each year for personal and professional development. Of course, everyone’s training needs are different. 

To identify activities that will most benefit you in your role, talk with: 

  • Your line manager, as part of your appraisal (RPD) 
  • Your colleagues, about what they have found useful
