Things to keep in mind when adding events to the events factory
Location
The campus and building fields with affect each other - Selecting 'Canterbury' in the campus field, will restrict the building field into showing buildings only on the Canterbury campus
Categories
The Events Factory has a range of different categories which are used site-wide. You can categorise your event into as many categories as you like.
Tags
Tags allow you to associate related words with an events. For example - If an event is aimed at students, the event could be given the tag “student”
Promote this event
'Promote this event' if used will allow you to advertise your event on a partnered departments calendar, this will allow for one event to be used but displsyed on to calendars at once reducing duplication.
