LibrarySearch
Use LibrarySearch to access our vast collections of books, journals, multimedia and digital resources, specifically chosen to support teaching and research at Kent.
LibrarySearch searches the Templeman, and Drill Hall libraries, and specialist collections such as our Special Collections and Archives.
It also includes the holdings of Canterbury and Rochester Cathedral Libraries.
How to use LibrarySearch
A-Z of e-resources
Not everything we subscribe to is available in LibrarySearch. Or you may prefer to search some e-resources or databases through their native interfaces. You can browse and access all our digital resources directly though the A-Z of e-resources.
Special Collections and Archives
Our Special Collections and Archives hold over 150 unique and distinctive collections, with particular strength in theatre, stand-up comedy, political cartoons, wind and watermills, the history of the University and the local area, plus collections of 20th century prose and poetry first editions.
If material isn't at Kent
If you need material that isn't available at the Templeman, Drill Hall, or Tonbridge Centre Library you can:
- use the document delivery service to request items
- visit and borrow from another library through the SCONUL Access scheme
Borrowing from our libraries
Using your KentOne card you can borrow:
Items you borrow are automatically renewed, unless someone else reserves them.
If you borrow from the Library, we send you regular account updates and special notifications, so please check your Kent email regularly.
