Bag It

Order sandwiches of your choice at Bag It, based in Rutherford Dining Hall. Place your order at the till or via the Order Up! app

Beagle restaurant

The Beagle, on the first floor of Darwin College, is our flagship fine dining restaurant - ideal for  corporate entertaining and private bookings. The menu changes regularly and features locally sourced produce.

Please note: Beagle restaurant is only open when a booking is made. To book, email or phone the Conference Office on ext 8000.

Create café

Create, based in the Marlowe Building on Canterbury campus, is an ideal place to pick up tasty drinks and snacks, to eat in or takeaway.    

The Deep End

GK Union's popular state-of-the-art bar can be found in the Student Hub at the heart of on Medway campus.

Dolche Vita

Dolche Vita, in Keynes College (opposite K-Bar), offers freshly prepared dishes from around the world.

Gulbenkian café

Gulbenkian Cafe, in the heart of Canterbury campus, offers delicious breakfasts, healthy meal options and enticing cakes. The cafe is open daily, but opening hours vary throughout the year.

Hut 8

Hut 8, based in Turing College on Canterbury campus, offers convenient takeaway-style food. Chill out with friends, while taking advantage of computers and gaming facilities, or play pool or table tennis.


The popular K-Bar, in Keynes College, Canterbury campus, has a laid-back, welcoming vibe. On the menu are Chicago Town pizzas, fresh barista coffee and healthy smoothies, as well as cocktails, mocktails, premium beers and ciders. 


Mungo’s, in Eliot College, Canterbury, is renowned for its ‘American Diner’ style menu; serving up tempting burgers, finger lickin’ snacks and extravagant desserts.


Origins, based in Darwin College, is packed full of smoky flavours and BBQ goodness. Think ribs, pulled meats, skewers and burgers, followed by tasty classic American desserts.

Pavilion Café Bar

The Pavilion Café Bar is now available to use for private events only. 

Rutherford Dining Hall

Rutherford Dining Hall, within Rutherford College on Canterbury campus, offers traditional home-cooked food at great value for money. Take your pick from its wok or salad bar, or a daily changing menu.

Sibson café

Sibson Café, our newest eatery on the ground floor of the Sibson Building, on Canterbury campus, serves delicious, fresh, home-made food to eat in or takeaway. 

Street Kitchen

For feel-good food on-the-go, check out the Street Kitchen, on Jarman Plaza, Canterbury campus (opposite Essentials shop). A weekly changing menu features flavoursome food at affordable prices for veggies, vegans and meat-eaters.

Co-op shop

The Co-op is your on campus shop, where you can pick up your day-to-day shopping or grab a quick bite for lunch!


Woody’s boasts great value, fresh, and flavoursome food; as well as some returning classics like the 'Stack'.

We also host many events throughout the year including showing all the latest sporting games on some of the best screens on campus!
